What is cancer and how cancer can be classified ?

Cancer is a medical term used to describe the uncontrolled growth of abnormal cells in the body due to genetic and environmental factors, cancerous cells can grow uncontrollably and invade other cells and tissues in the body through the blood and lymphatic system.
Researchers have found more than 100 types of cancers and they are named according to the origin or site of  the body where cancerous cells start to grow.

Cancers can be categorized into major 5 types
Sarcoma: cancer that originates from cartilage, bone, fat tissues, muscles, blood vessels, especially from connective tissues.
Carcinoma: cancer that originates from skin or tissues that cover internal organs. Carcinoma can be classified into various subtypes, They are: basal cell carcinoma, transitional cell carcinoma, squamous cell carcinoma and adenocarcinoma,
how tumor growsLeukemia: cancer originating from blood or bone marrow, leukemia is also another name for blood cancer.
Central nervous system cancers: cancer that originates from tissues of the brain and spinal cord
Lymphoma and myeloma: Cancer that originates from the immune cells and invade other tissues.
